We have up to 15 councillors who represent the whole parish and direct the work of the council. They vote annually for a chairman and vice chairman of the council
Our councillors represent the views and concerns of the community to the council and report the activities of the council back to the public. They make themselves available to their constituents and their contact details can be found under each councillor’s profile.
Councillors are elected to serve on the parish council for four years, although they may be appointed through by-election or co-option. The last election was in May 2019
Councillors must agree to observe the council’s Code of Conduct. By signing up to the code, councillors agree to act openly and honestly in the public interest.
The members are also required to register their pecuniary, or financial, interests. A copy of this register is held by the Parish Clerk or you can view the forms under each councillor’s profile.
